[Book Description]

This book was written especially to address the educational needs of the physical thrapist assistant. Traditionally, PTA curricula used parts of or watered down versions of physical therapist textbooks, leaving a significant knowledge gap between what is presented to the PTA student and what is written. Most, if not all, texts were geared toward the prerequisite level of the PT, not the PTA students. With that deficit in mind, this text was created to provide PTA students with the knowledge and skills they need to become successful clinicians.
